Atlanta, Georgia's Most Haunted Attraction- PsychoShack Haunted House!

Haunted Atlanta Psychoshack

Frequently Asked Questions!

What time does the haunted house usually open?
We open at DARK. We might occasionally open a few minutes later, but only if we’re experiencing a technical problem.

Is PsychoShack Scary?
As soon as you enter the front door, you will be transported into a realm of sheer terror - a dark maze through rooms with scenes from your worst nightmares.

yes yes.. But is it really scary?
We are attempting to be one of the scariest and most entertaining haunted houses in the nation. Most of the people who went through in 2007 came out screaming for more. We make every attempt to keep you coming back year after year for more.

Is it really haunted?
We have had Ghost Hunters and Psychics alike tell us this place is haunted. Check out our video from last year to see a celebrity ghost hunter in action. Come see for yourself!

What is the best time to arrive?
Everyone complains about the long lines but always shows up around 9pm. Our suggestion is for you to come and buy your ticket around 7:30pm so you are one of the first in line, and come earlier in the season for that special smaller group tour.

Where can I get your special Coupon Trading Cards?
You can order your tickets right here online for the best deal anywhere. The trading cards are very special. There are 13 in all. 4 pre-season cards, and very special cards every week. If you collect all 13, and present them at the door, there is a very special prize for you, indeed.
VIP Access and a behind the scenes tour will await you.

If I'm in line at closing time will I still get in?
Of Course! we will be open until the last person runs screaming out of the attraction.

Will they TOUCH me?
We have a "no touch" policy - you don't touch us, we don't touch you. Due to the dim lighting inside the houses though, you may occasionally come into accidental contact with one of our staff. Our creatures will never intentionally grab or maul at you.

Can I take photos or video inside the attraction?
NO! The attraction is dark ( obvously ) and everyone especially the actors eyes adjust to the low light. Our security is moving throughout the house constantly in the dark. If you flash your camera, you are ruining the experience of everyone including hurting the staff's eyes. For that reason, no recording devices of any type are allowed (video cameras, camera phones, etc,...) Just turn the electronics off, and enjoy the show.. mmkay?

Can I bring my kids?
SURE! Bring the whole family! We've had 8-year-olds walk through without a scream, and often have to escort out 30 yr old firemen!( you know who you are! <smirk>) Children under twelve should be accompanied by an adult. We will never force young children who get to the front door and are too scared to enter. We do not recommend our attractions for very young children, or the elderly. For 2008, we do have 3 flights of stairs to pass while in the attraction.

What if I want to leave half-way through the attraction?

No problem! A dozen people a night are too scared to make it through, and are let out by security throughout the attraction.

So, I left halfway through the haunted house, can I get a refund?
SORRY! You paid us to scare you. If you get scared in the first few rooms and want to leave, we've done our job! We offer no refunds upon entering the attraction.

Do you offer group discounts?
Group rates are available for parties of 20 or more providing the reservation and rate is approved in advance. Call (404) 418-6362 for more information. No discounts will be granted during the final week of October.

Are you handicap accessible?
The Grind- bottom floor only- Admission is free.
If you have a handicap and would like to tour the attraction, please let the ticket booth know for any special instructions. A staff member will accompany your group to assist you if need be, and in order to maintain our safety standards, we do not recommend taking crutches and other such devices into the building. If you must use them, a staff member will accompany your group.

Are your attractions open if it rains?
Absolutely!

Do you have security?
Of Course! We have a fully trained security staff. We also have a nurse and fire-watch personel on duty at all times.

Is it better than last year?
We intend to improve our scare tactics from year to year, and we hope to electrify our audience ( literally).

Do you sell food, beverages and souvenirs at your attractions?
Yes! We sell everything from food to T-shirts.

Can I hit the actors, or come through the haunt drunk or on drugs?
Just ask the police staff there any evening, and they will quickly give you an answer.
