NEWS FLASH! ATLANTA HAUNTED HOUSE BUILDS 2 ALL NEW HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS TO GEORGIA FOR 2008!

Morgana Johnson was born in 1897 in Douglasville, Georgia to a family
of post civil war plantation farmers.
At an early age, she showed signs that she possessed special powers.
Powers that were
not accessible to most.
As a child she would have otherworldly
visions. She began to predict death with great accuracy.
In her early adult years, she became renowned for giving very accurate psychic readings.
Morgana became a master of the
Tarot, Spirit Board (later called a Ouija Board), and The Pendulum.
People came from miles around to have a personal
reading with her.
In her travels, she came across an ancient custom that greatly intrigued her.
It was the ancient technique used by Greeks to scry into the spirit world.
It was called a Psychomanteum.
She developed a secret chamber in her family's home.
It was a simple room, dimly lit with candlelight.
A darkened mirror,
was placed so she could not see her own reflection.
Black Velvet curtains were hung everywhere to completely block light from entering the room.
In deep mediation, she would invite those who came to "see" into the Psychomanteum chamber.
She would begin to chant, and the mirror would light with faces, images and full apparitions.
It is told that most would see departed loved ones wishing them peace.
At times, the images in the mirror would contort into hideous veiled creatures.
Wraith
like beings were often seen as they tried to claw their way in through the portal.
On the
rare occasion this happened, Morgana would close the portal immediately to seal it.
Family members and witnesses claimed that it took increasing strength from Morgana to close the mirror portal,
as she gained access to the world beyond.
Every reading she did, the more intense the spiritual
dimension split the Psychomanteum.
People came in multitudes to see the spectacle and learn information from the dead.
In her memoirs, she writes that on one Hallow's eve, in 1942 she was warned by a spirit that she trusted and sought often, that if she attempted to open the portal again,
that her soul would be lost in the house forever.
She closed the Psychomanteum chamber for good that very night.
That was, until three years later when her father, Rev. Paul Johnson was murdered on the steps of their home.
Her grief, and sorrow led her to try the Psychomanteum chamber one last time to learn who murdered her poor father.
Neighbors witnessed her boarding up her home the last day she was ever seen.
Morgana was last seen alive on Sept 29, 1945.
Her body was never
found.
Police reports state that she was kidnapped, but no evidence supports that theory.
The people that knew her, believe otherwise...
This Halloween, Psychoshack Haunted House in Atlanta, Georgia has hired a team of Psychic Investigators,
